IRC Flashback
When I first started chatting on IRC (like back in late 95) my nickname was RAVErrr. Nibaq’s nickname was XBS and I still remember the first time he helped me get on IRC, I think I was using the software WS_IRC.

I think my generation’s first ever experience with chat was ICQ, before the Mass Exodus of 1998, when everyone suddenly decided to switch to MSN.

ICQ, I hated it but everyone I knew was using it so i got on it, then by the time i started using it everyone had already moved to msn lol

i used Forzaq8 on irc as well ,, had a couple before but settled on forzaq8
i still use IRC , but not for chatting, for downloading :P

lol i joined IRC in like 94 i guess… when the ESKIMO server was hot and way before EF NET. My nick was ^7aboOoba then went to DALNet and my nick was AL-KashkhaGirl and then to EF Net where my nick was ^7aboOoba or Sha3oOoLa then of course ananyah
I quit like ages ago, but i do go back every so often lol
I met my best friend Yousef on IRC when I was 13 hehehe

UMM.. that was way too old Mark it was like at 97 , i had my first nickname there (STILKUS) and it was really unique ,, i’m using it till now cause it’s like free in every site i sign up in :) .. my really main use for IRC servers that time was like downloading illegal software and i didn’t like warez that time .

my nick was whatever stupid shit i could think of. i think i prob had something like q8_neech_girl69 and kept flooding shit like press 1 for sex or kisUM_q8_sandniggers and kept insulting random ppl etc. fuck IRC, i can’t believe ppl still use this shit
MS comic chat was where it was at though. anybody used that? oh man i had so much fun messign around on it.

I had my nicknames on IRC, VampireQ8 and SlipKnotS and other weirdo Nicknames, however i still use Moey for this piracy group i’m in on IRC and we have a password for out channel, we also release metal video clips, check http://www.mediaburialvideos.com ;)

A wee bit late..but damn..IRC..used to be an op out there on EFnet myself in a bunch of channels.
I knew quite a number of people who met on IRC & got married. I still join there once in awhile when I got the time & bored.

i’ve been using irc (dalnet) from ages now. i still go there but not to chat or hang around, but only to identify my nicknames. can’t see people getting my identity :) well, crackguy, jim, bouncer, etc.. are my nicknames. now don’t /ns info :p

:P man it was ages ago, i hated it but everyone was on it. I know a guy who up until 2 years ago was still an op on #kuwait :P
i remember last summer i saw a bunch of guys in starbucks, with their laptops, they were nuking people on IRC, and they werent teenagers !!! they were like a group of 10 guys, one of them is that fat ass from KTV! they guy who appears on kids programs and with dawood hussein :P
