KEMS don’t like me?
A blog reader just emailed me saying that my blog is blocked by KEMS. Can anyone confirm that?
Update: It seems this isn’t true, my site isn’t blocked with KEMS. Must be a fluke?
Update2: The error message the blog reader is getting is
This site is blocked according to the goverment filtering policy. If you feel this page has been blocked in errors kindly fill out the form and we will investigate thank you.
Very strange, is this because I said the bollards were ugly?
Update3: My site is now no longer blocked on KEMS.

Mark, your blog works on KEMS and loads just fine. Maybe the filter blocked a particular post, I do see some visitors using mild to heavy profanity while commenting on here. So, did Qualitynet fix your connection yet? =) or you changed the DNS? Funny when you say your site loads slowly on your Mac. cause other Kuwait blog sites are much slower than yours, including the saving of comments feature. Hope your internet issues get resolved.

21. anon | September 15th, 2009 at 9:47 am
Mark,
1. Please check the ratings of any of your website contents.
2. Sometimes, it could be because of the Anti Virus Scanner at the KEMS site.
3. Also depends on the user’s browser settings;
There is nothing that you have said offending. In fact, apart from your adverts, I find most of your stuff very useful.
Not to worry mate.

Well this is a one off thing. Various famous sites were blocked yesterday at around the same time. I could read the feeds through Greader so there was no issue. Interestingly google and it’s apps were not blocked. Imdb/248/flickr etc were blocked.. So I guess it was some temporary outage. But it’s resolved today and all is fair again in Kems land.
