Congrats Mark! Good to know that you're sticking to the lifestyle change. Imho, anyone that works hard to lose weight / get back into shape / buff up should reward themself / "cheat" once in a while. You clearly went overboard though lol but kudos nonetheless. Keep it up Fahad and team CORE FITNESS!

Suleiman,
We keep it simple. Not everyone understands this type of lingo. Moreover, we are limited to a specific number of letters per message sent.

In regards to water, you may also "pubmed" it; if not try Google. It's actually 30% and is temporary; enough to help metabolize the upcoming meal.

"Google it"

I think that's the point I am trying to make. Try pubmed instead.

I am not saying green tea is a bad choice but if you are going to quote studies....

e.g. From Westerterp-Plantenga et al 2005. In the high caffeine consumers, no effects of the green tea-caffeine mixture were observed during WM. DISCUSSION: High caffeine intake was associated with weight loss through thermogenesis and fat oxidation and with suppressed leptin in women. In habitual low caffeine consumers, the green tea-caffeine mixture improved WM, partly through thermogenesis and fat oxidation.

A 25% boost in metabolism? a jump in a BMR of 2000 to 2500?

Come on.

"He didn’t lose 1.4kg of fat-free mass; this is why I was talking about the inaccuracy of the Tanita."
How do you know he didn't? Science only starts when you start measuring.
A simple way to check is to monitor increases or decreases in strength. Although as Mark is a beginner some of his strength gains (he did gain strength didn’t he?) will be attributed to neural adaptations not increases in lean body mass.

“Hi Mark! Workout today at 8:20PM! FYI: Drink 1 glass of cold water 15min before a meal gives your metablism a 25% boost!”

Really ?

“Hi Mark! Workout today at 8:00PM! FYI: Studies show that people who drink 3 servings per day of Green Tea lost more fat around their midsection”

Which studies are these? Compared to what? Was it just the caffeine?

“Hi Mark! Workout today at 8:00PM! FYI: Pizza? Choose Domino’s. 1 small order, thin slices, add anything, but ditch the ground beef and pepperoni”

I guess he likes pizza.

After

Fat Free Mass Before was 67.8kg. Fat Free Mass after is 66.4kg = 1.4kg fat free mass lost (more or less since bioelectrical impedance analysis
is not that accurate nor the gold standard for reference method)

(Fat-free mass can refer to any body tissue that does not contain fat… eg… bones, muscles, skin, nails, etc… etc…)

Given the inaccuracy of BIA (bioelectrical impedance analysis) the record won't still add up.

I'm still wondering why did mark say that he gained 1.7kg of muscles (more or less since bioelectrical impedance analysis
is not that accurate nor the gold standard for reference method)

I'm not trying to discredit anyone. I'm just asking :)

His measurements above are evident of lean muscle gain and fat-loss.

My apologies if I sound too aggressive; I didn't mean it to come out like that :P
