If you want Headphones then you can pass by Dawaliah in Salmiya (opposite marina mall near eastpak) and check out their sennheiser collection. I have the sennheiser PX100 (u can find it in the review section) and I love it but I am not sure if they have it in Kuwait yet. While you are there btw, keep away from the Bose, they suck.

Yazeed the 99$ Shure E2’s are really great. Once you put them on for the first time you will instantly see a large large difference between those and the white apple earbuds. But be warned the Shure E2’s are inear earphones meaning you shove them inside your ear. Whats great about that is you won’t hear any noise around you. I once did an experiement, i played music on my E2’s at a fairly decent volume and i made Nat scream at the top of her lungs infront of me, i couldn’t hear her at all :) they are perfect for plane trips. Also you can find them for cheaper then 99$, you can find it for like 75$ online.

Finally if you don’t want in-ear earphones I would recommend the Sennheiser PX100. I have a review of it online and you can find it for like $40

i agree the apple earbuds look good with ipods
they are small and easy to store in a pocket or anywhere (i know that mark will say that the shures are small too)

ashkara they are not as good as the $499 ones, but are they much better than most headphones or earphones?

For real, I just think nothing fits the slimness look of at least Nano other than Apple’s own speakers. But still nothing fancy at their store.

On business talk, I can’t imagine how blind I was to buy a 2GB iPod Nano for the price of the 4GB from Virgin, Man! I should’ve checked on Apple store back a head.

Talal some people spend more on headphones then they would on home speakers. The reason is most people use their headphones more then they use their home speakers.

Now asking why people would spend more then 20$ on headphones is a naive thing to ask.

For 20$ you can get some cheap ass home speakers, for $1000 you can get much better sounding home speakers.

Same with headphones, you can spend 6$ and get some shity noise or pay $100 and get some pretty amazing pair of headphones that would rival most home systems. I wouldnt pay $500 on earphones but I would easily pay 150. Some audiophilies even get custom earphone ear molds done for the perfect fit!

I’ll stick to my $20 Phillips in-ears with bass boost, thank you very much.

If I was a risk taker myself or had the finances I would consider importing the Shure’s plus other items that are popular in the US and could be popular in the States. But as a Shure dealer, how much of a risk is it to them to bring in the earphones, they are the fucking dealers you know..
