I dont know if anyone will agree with me but i think that a place like the avenues shouldnt allow smoking , period. Sheeshas are disgusting and the smell turns me way off.

Yes, Karam Cafe is part of Karam Beirut chain. Very delicious and trendy – got to try it, by the way, Karam Beirut will be opened in Kuwait before end of the year.

I miss the mid 90s era in Kuwait. Boy! Great memories of Fudds back in the day. I agree with you Mark, loved their order call out. That was pretty neat back in the day.

Fudds was one of the first restaurants to open up on the Gulf Road. It used to get SUPER packed over the weekend. Used to spend all my time there back in highschool. Used to love the way they would call out your order “Number 476 your order is ready come on down!”

I personally think they should have kept the place but it wasn’t doing that well anymore.

Point of view of a Fudds fan:

Fuck this restaurant, is what I think everytime I hear or see this place.
That was one stupid move. Who wants Lebanese food when you got Fudds. It was a popular spot too. A place which gained customers over the years. Good food, good prices, good ambiance, good location, and one of the first of good American restaurants in Kuwait; lots of good gone to waste. It’s not like business was bad for Fudds.

Fuddruckers was amazing. So many memories. That’s one of THE worst things to have happened in Kuwait. I only noticed it last time I got back to Kuwait. What I’m saying is, it pisses me off that they replaced Fudds with another thing, not only that but with some joint that offers food you can get from other regular restaurants.
Talk about misguided, so-called business minds. Utter stupidity.
