Al Bairaq Mall
iLSuL6ana has pictures and information on the new mall that opened near the 7th Ring Road called Al Bairaq. It doesn’t seem very interesting compared to 360 and Avenues but it could be convenient for people who live there. [Link]

An uninteresting mall that doesn’t try to show off? Am I the only who’s interest has been peeked?

I went there with a friend on opening night. I was embarrassed for them I have never in my life been to shopping mall that was so trashed with garbage. Upstairs in the food court area was overflowing with trash because of that there was food all over the floor drinks had leaked from the trash the music so loud that we could not carry a conversation without raising our voices. I started to take some photos and post but I decided not to, we turned around and walked right out. Epic Fail.

M, there are places that are far more better, and kinkier, than Victoria’s Secret in Hawally. All you gotta do is…..ask around ;)
You’ll be surprised to what you will find around here.

Went here tonight with my family.
It’s really nice, pleasant, clean and spacious.
Shops are a mixture of Western and Arabic clothing i.e New Look – Western and the likes of Anotah – Arabic.
From what I could remember. There is a carribou and starbucks, those seem to be the only coffee shops..
But really, it is quite nice.
Other shops include, the usual shops selling Bakhoor, Ajmal, Centrepoint, Next, GoSport, Guess..
I liked it..

Mall doesn’t have a store directory yet..
But that’s typical here isn’t it?
Kind of important if you ask me ..
Mall is convenient being near and having a theater..
Toy Story in 3-D was neat.. (Long movie.. but..)
To early to say but, didn’t see ANY other westerns.

I stopped by last night to grab a coffee at Caribou and must say I was shocked….ok, it was Friday night but as someone earler mentioned, the place was covered in trash, leaflets strewn across the floor, gangs of little runts trying to get in the door while the security tried in vain to grab a hold of them, police, broken glass on the pavement outside! Just awful. I have been in Kuwait for 25 years and NEVER felt insecure, until i visited this place. Would be nice enough if it was quiet, i guess!

Victoria’s Secret doesn’t have any international stores as of yet. I think they have plans for the UK though so Kuwait will just have to wait for awhile I guess..
But there’s a La Senza here isn’t there? They’re owned by the same parent company as VS.
As for the Bairaq mall, I hear it’s small and not very varied but it’ll be nice to have a cinema just down the road.. It’ll also be nice to have another place to go to coffee than fintas towers down in mahboula.

We went there tonight (Saturday) and they weren’t letting men in unless they were with their wives.
