Al-Corniche Club Spa Review

Shopaholic Q8eya just posted a review of the Al-Corniche Club Spa. Seems she had a terrible experience starting with an obnoxious receptionist all the way to a smelly therapist. A very fun read. [Link]
update: she got a call-back from upper management [Link]

Purg she SHOULD get a refund back after her experience.

Yah but using the term “Mark” in any sentence or email might get her that, without it, no one will do a thing.

I want a refund! LOL I really do, we still have like 50 kd worth of voucher left! and there is no way, like no way I am going back there!
My friend stopped there this morning and talked to one of the managers, he said that he can’t do anything about it and that we should talk to someone named Alex. I’ve been very busy today but for sure I am giving this Alex a phone call first thing tomorrow morning.

Speaking of customer service & quality (and sorry for posting this here), but does anyone have any experience with United Networks. I am shopping for DSL service, and i heard they were quite good.

i wanted to join this club…. or at least check it out.
Know what their tour was? They opened the gate, pointed vaguely behind and said “gym’s over there”.
tossers. ‘
excellent concept, poorly executed.

For all you know, it may be complete hogwash!
In a complaint situation such as this there’s no use relying on one side of the story only.

Very true… BUT… I wanted to check out the other side of the story… U know, give them a chance to respond. I sent this email on the 9th. Still no response…
“Hi,
I have been shopping around for a spa for my wife. I happened to come across reviews regarding customer service and quality in your spa that are not very favorable (http://q8eya.blogspot.com/2006/07/al-corniche-club-spa-review.html).
Could you shed some light on this please?”
