“So an earthquake hit Kuwait and I missed it”
You would rather be running out of a crumbling building? lol.
Let us thank God that we don’t have to face what the Peruvians are going through right now.

OK. I stand corrected. I was looking at 18th. The quake happened on 17th UTC.
9. Faber-Castellِ | August 18th, 2007 at 12:35 pm
It happened on the border with KSA, and there are joint oil operations there. Perhaps one of either is trying to move the oil to them ;p

11. Lucky_Boy | August 18th, 2007 at 1:00 pm
I was on my chair browsing internet and felt it was shacking slowly and very slightly for like 2-3 sec, I immediately looked at the clock and it was 1:47. Woot I have experienced an earthquake for the first time in my life :D
12. rampurple | August 18th, 2007 at 1:29 pm
it lasted a lot more than mere seconds.
it must have lasted for a minute.
it took me a while to realize what was going on but when i did, i moved away from my window coz it was shaking, and i had to move the glass of water from the night table since it was also shaking and was going to fall off.

15. OB | August 18th, 2007 at 1:57 pm
Who said Kuwait is in an Eartquacke region?! I am really interested in knowing this persons educational and professional background. I would love to see his/her justification and explanation on this.
Kuwait might recieve a slight after shocks from regions close by (like Iran…etc.) and even when oil is produced, it will be replaced by water (Mother nature’s act).
Im still insisting to know what was the reasons behind a comment suggesting Kuwait is under a tectonic plate or on top of an earthquake region.

Whoa, dude I think I felt it too. Around the same time (3:30 am), I was laying on my tummy on the bed watching TV. I felt my bed going back and forth but I thought I was tripping (dismissed it as hallucination). It was wierd, but I can see how it can kill you if it were much stronger :D.
