They really should just re-furbish it, there's far more empty apartments in Kuwait than people (let alone people who can afford it). Though I really wouldn't compare this building with Le Corbusier or Mies's works... Rather it holds strong resemblances to Gropius's Bauhaus (if you were to stretch out the Bauhaus, and recolor it of course). Shame to demolish landmarks, especially the tasteful ones I remember this building well !
