Apple Store and Aramex

It seems some people are having trouble purchasing stuff from the Apple Store online with a local credit card. So far I know for a fact it works with NBK and Gulf Bank credit cards. I also know for a fact that if you put your shipping and billing address as U Shop We Ship it works BUT I can’t confirm that it works if you use your Aramex Shop & Ship address. It seems people who use the Aramex address are getting their orders canceled.

Can anyone here confirm if they were able to purchase items from the Apple Store using a local credit card and a Aramex Shop & Ship account?

Two weeks ago, I tried it with my KFH visa card + Aramex address for shipping and billing. It worked beautifully, even though I was really skeptical.

The package is due tomorrow :)

Isin’t this supposed to be automated? how come some are getting while others like me aren’t? it has to be working on a redflag basis.

    you know what ?

those who got succesful orders could at least show us the address filling page so we can do the same thing ,, i know its something stupied and tiny thats making us suffer ;P

ohh and you guys can blur your information but the idea is to get the whole pic

  22. 23. bb | September 15th, 2007 at 2:15 pm

you guys i found out how to do it !!

mark i know we’v crowded you with our comments but if you allow me i will demonstrate ;P

so lets see it bb .. i really want to know ..

  24. 25. BB | September 16th, 2007 at 8:26 pm

    ok you guys :

1- (this is optional) take your visa. mastercard or whatever card your using to your bank and tell them to change the cards original address to your us mail box address (aramex - usws ) they will finish this for you in a matter of minutes.

the original address of the card would be your house address here in kuwait for example .. some companies check that address and if the address does not match the billing address they will cancel the whole thing.

2- it was a very simple step but i didnt believe how powerful it was !!
when you enter your mail box # in the empty space, do not include the hash sign ( #) just type directly KWI 31111 or whatever your number is. It seems that the FPO or APO address lag is just a script that disables orders with that logo in em.

3- no need to tick the empty square that says billing address matches shipping address.

iv just ordered Command & Conquer for my mac and its on the way !!!

so yalla go and shop away !

REMEMBER : step 1 is only optional ,, you can start to order right away with the minor adjustments in mind (steps 2 & 3).

Hi BB. I could order from the aramex store before , but not now, tried your method as well, but dint work for me…

  26. 27. nyc2dxb | September 23rd, 2007 at 1:27 pm

Orders on stores like apple and also dell usually get flagged when you’re using a non-US bank cc, a fake phone number and also many times with your IP address (non US). However some people get lucky. Their filters seem quite random.

I placed an order earlier today with KFH’s tamweelnet and through Aramex (Springfield). It worked just fine; they just sent me an email saying it was shipped.

I have a question though. I paid extra for faster delivery, so now it’s done through FedEX in US and as mentioned, they require my signature. Has anyone got around that?

i Used my NBK Visa and Aramex adress but my order got cancelled

  29. 30. john donne | November 19th, 2007 at 2:28 pm

i got the same message as ‘abdullah’ above and i used a US American Express Card (had it since 1995) as well as aramex shopnship.

i think someone’s suggestion that IP’s are checked may be the flag. i will try using tor/vidalia next time to switch to a US proxy.

heck maybe i will just try ushopweship that some suggested works.

i believe that as mail forwarders become more popular their addresses get flagged on major merchant databases so lets hope that ushopweship remains an unpopular option for most people.
