Apple TV in Kuwait
I was in Marina Mall yesterday when I noticed that Mac&More surprisingly have the Apple TV in stock. They are selling it for KD129 which is around $140 more expensive then on Amazon.

Apple TV is K-ool but then, so are Selevision(www.selevision.net) and Tata Sky TV (www.tatasky.com).

Qaiss it doesn’t matter if you are in the US or Kuwait or Japan, the device works everywhere. If you want to purchase shows or movies you would need a US credit card.
what exactly is it a tv or DVD player, or is it conncted to mac computer?
hmmm interesting! I would like to just buy some shows! Im hoping for 1080p that would be nice!!

Tata Sky signal is meant only for India, though people are buying the receivers and using them in Middle East. But there are pitfalls.

Actually 129 KD is not that bad.
In the UK it is £199 (about 114 KD).
Actually it cost EURO 299 in Europe, add the Kuwait 5% tax + Shipping and the total price will be more than KD140!!
Guys, the US is not the cheapest place to buy Apple by the way!! Check Apple Store Hong Kong, it cost US$294?
Apple Middle East works under Apple Europe umbrella and hence; the prices must be compared to Europe and not the US. Lets be fair :) at least they are much cheaper than iCity who don’t have the product yet and they are asking KD160!!!!
jojo on Amazon its KD86, add KD4 for shipping thats KD90 which is nearly KD40 cheaper.
