The phase two of Avenues has opened up, I think the launch was two days ago. Anyway only three stores are currently open in that section plus the food court which had McDonalds and the other chains have now moved to phase two along with a couple of new ones.

Talking about Starbucks, from last week earnings it seems the company is having problem with generating profit. I have noticed that not Starbucks is not maintaining consistent level of quality and traffic (at least here in the States). Not big deal for Alshaye I guess, a lot of people with nothing to do in Kuwait.

I’m sick of malls as well, someone should open a museum like the ones in London (in Kensington to be exact). They have events and all.
Or an opera house, or a spa worth going to.. we need CHANGE. argh.
Mark, you should write a review about ‘Places Worth Visiting’ in Kuwait, or something like that. Make sure it has NOTHING to do with food. In the top of my list is the Scientific Center, and some of the horseback riding/golf clubs in Mesilla.

The first thing that went through my head when I saw the picture was, “rooms at the first floor, swimming pool and sporting areas on the grand”. What are the chances of that ever happening? :P

evenues is very nice place of kuwait. kabab-ji evenues food is very tasty. taste our food.
