Bird flu transmission and infection
As most of you probably know by now there have been a number of Bird Flu cases reported in Kuwait. The big question of course is are we in any danger? How can we contract the Avian flu? Well I did some research and from what I understood the only way you can contract bird flu is through their saliva, nasal secretions, and feces. Meaning unless you are planning on making out with a bird you should be pretty safe. [Source]

Don’t worry about getting it , unless you’re dealing with live poultry , then you’re safe . If even if you eat an infected chicken , you’re still safe because the virus is gonna die from the heat

Don’t forget handling raw chicken for you cooks out there!! make sure you don’t cross contaminate your food and wash your hands well after handling the raw bird.
Eating your eggs runny may be risky too! not sure about this one though ..

Stafa majority of the people who contracted the flu and died were farmers. And majority of those were in poor countries where sanitary conditions at the farm were very poor.
Also I understood you cant get bird flu from dead raw chicken.

If its dead you can’t get it, just make sure to chop the bird’s head off and then your all good. I was still eating chicken back then and I’m still eating right now!

Please, please go to the web site http://www.fluwikie.com
It will help you learn about bird flu.
And please, please don’t eat any chicken that isn’t cooked until there is NO PINK inside.
Take care,
From the other side of the planet,
Julie
