Black Widow Deal
The owner of Slider Station just posted the following comment under the Slider Station burger review:
mark i’m gonna make this burger a bit more accessible to readers. All 248am.com readers could get the black widow for 8.5 KD till July 31st. All they have to do is mention the site when they order.
Thats definitely a good deal (as in better than KD11.750) especially if you are curious to try what probably is the most expensive burger in Kuwait. If you haven’t read my Black Widow review yet here is the [Link]

Ironically I’ve lost 2KG since last week. No one believes me when I tell them that my burger lunches now are healthier than the fast food I usually have!
It all sounds a little corny. Imagine calling a burger – Black Widow which by far, is the most venomous spider there is today. Has the branding been influenced by the owner’s frequent grubbing at the Black Widow pub near Gloucester Road in London? I am guessing it would go well with a Cobra beer. Also isn’t KD 11 point something a bit much for junk food even by Oslo standards?
Of course they’re healthier! You’re eating real meat instead of that processed junk of unknown origin that they serve at the fast food chains! Didn’t you see Fast Food Nation?!

how many calories do you think it has? I’m on a calories-count diet! :( maybe I’ll try it in a month or two.

we were four people at slider station today; we ordered a bunch of sliders and the black widow to share… everything was excellent (as usual at slider station), but the black widow was horrible… i was so disappointed, it ruined my whole meal. it was too heavy and everything was just mushed together; the patty tasted like the meat was old or had gone bad and the cheese added to the old taste and the fungus-y mushroom was just wrong on top of that, and then you have caramelized onions (?). i love each of the ingredients separately, but together, it was just a way too-busy burger…
Smart move by “slider station” owners! I drove all the way to their place just to try it. The burger was great but the fries were soggy… Very big portion of fries but soggy… Its good that I am not a fries fan! I hope other burger joints follow suit so we can try them as well!!
