Bus Crash

night crash

Yesterday night on my way to the airport I saw an accident on the 5th ring road just before exit 50. The accident was still fresh since the medics were still at the scene. Turns out a bus carrying works some how rammed into the back of a truck so it was pretty messed scene with a lot of injuries. Here are two pictures I managed to take as I was passing by.

update: Here is a good video shot at the scene by Zaina [Video]

those bus drivers are crazy.. it really makes me wonder where did those companies get these people from..

Also, the law is that buses should only drive of the first lane (further lane on the right) but they just dont seem to get it.. u see them in the fast line in bridges and any accident could cause the bus to fly off the bridge killing many passengers..

    I hate bus drivers !
walla they dont see where theyr going.
your driving and suddenly without giving a signal they will turn your side and just freak you out !! They should stick to thier lane..

S- I think your comments apply to absolutely every single driver in Kuwait.

    Except me.

There was something on the BBC about that yesterday… About how in Europe, if there’s a plane crash or something, the newspapers will show a woman’s shoe amidst the rubble as a striking image.

Apparently the rest of the world is unable to understand subtlety and respect for the dead, so need to have severed limbs shown on the tv, newspapers, internet, etc.

    Sounds about right.

the pictures/video were taken from a moving car .. I dont think there was a chance for a subtle and striking image.
