When reporting a news event , I dont think that its a big deal. Drivers in Kuwait suck generally. I don't think it has anything to do with nationality or gender or class. It has more to do with the general apathy people feel about following rules that actually help society (though they are quick to jump on the bandwagon about rules that harm us—like banning books, music, and dvds, boycotting Danish products, etc.). There is a general arrogance and simple lack of good manners when it comes to driving here.
