JAVA PROGRAMMER SPECIFICATION

Number of resources required: 1
Number Of Years Experience: At least 3
Level: Advanced

Job Profile: Will be an individual contributor to a client. Will talk to the client, understand project requirements, plan the code and database schema and then write the code.

Required Skill: Shall have to have good communication skills. Should be able to write code independently for the entire project. Should know how to design databases, normalization and all that stuff, should understand customer requirements, think of the code to write and then write that code.

Excellent knowledge of low-level systems programming concepts such as data structures with Java, OOPs, hash tables, linked lists, multi-threading, operating system concepts is a must.

The candidate must have extensive experience in client side scripting using JavaScript. The JavaScript experience must include treatment of advanced concepts. The candidate must’ve used DHTML Document Object Model (DOM) extensively. He must also have worked on server side JSP, JDBC, servelets, applets, EJB, J2EE, SMPP.

Must’ve worked on Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL. Must’ve setup and worked on Apache Tomcat or IIS.

    K,I agree was reading the requirements and in my head was thinking “fuck java”. They are looking for a java monkey. Who ever ges that job will be handling so much stuff.

    SQL, Apache, *nix, etc.

    Looks like they are either making some sort of web based accounts or store software.

    Could be something for in house, but doubt most likely for a online store.

    Hash Tables, SQL, Oracle, Java, C++!

    Except I dont have Apache Tomcat or IIS experience!

    Hey guys we don’t have problem teaching him and give him all the support but at least he should have some knowledge of all what we had mention Especially SMPP protocol … :)

    well i’m working as a web developer…

    i have about 3 yrs experience in web development technologies(ASP/ASP.NET, PHP, SQL Server, MySQL, IIS, Apache, Remote Scripting a.k.a AJAX, DHTML, Javascript) besides knowledge of Java, VB, C/C++.

    i wonder am i eligible to apply?
