First off any mall that houses a hypermarket such as, Carrefour cannot claim to be a classy mall. Secondly, trolleys inside the mall should strictly be a no-no never mind if they have it in Dubai or not. Dubai cuts a very sorry figure as a role model in several aspects of yes, even commercial and retail activity. So, phulease... don't trump the Dubai card any which way you please.

Of course compare City Center and Avenues... both huge... but ...
City Center has turned from a new classy place to a vulgur place filled with blah stores and smelly odors! We dont want the avenue to turn into that... its really lowers the class of the mall if you have people shopping around with their carts full of groceries...

I would like to bring your kind attention to the ailment which I had suffered from your out let in Kuwait. Being aware of your reputation and with great passion we visited your outlet in Kuwait (Avenues) for shopping. Unfortunately this will be our last visit due to the poor service and attitude of your staff. Most of the places when we ask the product we are not getting proper response and instead of answering they were ignoring the customers. From the counter accidentally, a bottle soda dropped from a packet and broken. It was due to poor packing. I was really shocked when your cashier asked me pay for that bottle which was broken. I just questioned this issue but the cashier cross checked with your managers and forced me pay. In order avoid any insult I did not argue this point again and paid in full. Sorry to say that this very cheap service and we never expect this kind of service from an international reputed chain like Carrefour. I urge you to visit other outlets like City Centre, Sultan Centre, Lulu and other local Coops and see how they were serving the customers. Local bakala will not charge such cases. It is an insult to a customer….

In Dubai you can take your Carrefour shopping cart everywhere inside city center. Now comparing city center to the avenues is really easy, both of them are huge, contain cinemas, restaurants and what so ever. So they are identical in someway, so i think it would be better to be able to take your shopping cart everywhere in the avenues, because it's a huge mall, you buy a lot of things, you need somewhere to put all that stuff in, and you need it to be easy for you to shop and carry your carrefour stuff at the same time, you can't walk around a huge mall like that with the bags in your hand, to the car or around the mall. That's my point of view.

I stayed in Kempinski - mall of the emirates (Dubai) a few times and always shop at Carrefour (at one end of the mall) and push my cart all the way to the hotel with no questions asked or problems of any sort.

Thats the rule in most big supermarkets...theyre just inforcing order. Anyway...who wants to shop with a load of groceries? Its very inconvenient. Next we'll have ppl with their shopping carts inside the shops!

C'mon ppl....be a little reasonable.

Totally agree with Equalizer and AbdulAziz.

what if its an older family with many bags from carrefour who couldnt find a direct parking place right underneath carrefour and had to park a distance away?whats wrong with pushing your cart to where your car is? imagine u were shoppin in the avenues, u finished decided to drop by carrefour do ur groceries and had to walk down in the parking places looking for your car?that happened to me and my family, we had a baby with us it was all very inconvenient.

after all whos this mall for?customers or just to stand there looking good?either build properly organized parking spaces or face having to think of customer convenience for once...i might just stick to sultan centre!
