Caesers brings back some memories its one of the first restaurants I visited as a child and I share your views on this restaurant ,it was the first time I had the sizzler it was amazing nothing I have had nsince then has been so tasty.
I remember also in the old days there used to be a bakery by the same name where you used to get the best puffs and small pizzas,I remember during Christmas the plum cakes used to be out of this world ,thank you Mark and Nat for this blog it does bring back pleasent memories of old kuwait,the country we were born and loved so much

the diced chicken chilli, and the chinese roast chicken, and yeah they do have the most exquisite rice.
like the top blogger, i can’t help but compare all chinese restaurants, even the ones in hong kong to caesars. very nice ones in hong kong btw, and in india.

my fav. one (not considering decor) would have to be the one in town. jay, you’ll find that one in the vicinity of the sheraton and the city churches.

We have come across a very ill-mannered person by the name of Jerry in the Fahaheel branch of Cearsers. He has no decency to talk to ladies. Inspite of he having commited the fault, yet he has been very arrogant and rude in his behaviour towards customers. Kindly look into the matter.

I became a Caesars fanatic during the early 80s (used to frequent the one opposite the Sheraton - now closed) and used to enjoy their sizzling stuff and the hot and sour soup, spring rolls and so forth. I always remember them bringing these white loafs of bread with a large bottle of water and some cut green chillies. I always prefered the Chinese Chilis to the Indian one down the road anyway. In terms of nostalgia CAESARS represents a pre-invasion Kuwait, when it was the Dubai of the Gulf, a more innocent, less materialistic and corrupt time.

The Caesars in Fahaheel does the best food. I ate at the one next to jarir yeaterday and it tasted crap compared to the fahaheel branch, also the staff got annoying whereas i personally find at fahaheel, they know when to leave you alone. I must say though, i havnt tries the salmiya one yet… btw, just found this site, and living it kuwait, its really kool. Nice 1 m8

Does anyone know if Winners restaurant is still open? That was the best Indian/Chinese food in the world. I miss it! It was next to C’s.

I miss Caeser’s, all I got here is Chopsticks, which isn’t really bad, and it’s pretty affordable, but the Sweet and Sour Chicken isn’t as good as Caeser’s, BUT, the Lemon Chicken and Orange Chicken are really good. I’m pretty much drooling thinking of the food, so I’m going to shutup now.

I know this place.. It used to be next door to my favorite restaurant (Winners Restaurant) and that restaurant is my version of Caesars hehehe since I’ve been eating there ever since I can remember hehehe but sometimes the food just doesn’t taste the same, hence I agree with you with the 4.5/5 rating :P

sorry but no one does mongolian prawns in kuwait the way peacock does. plus who else gives u cajun nuts to munch on while u wait. their soup and appetizers arent that good but they got some good main dishes.
