for all people out there, bad news is that i just went to naif’s at kuwait international airport and they told me that they have stopped this offer and i ended up buying 2 shawarmas for half K.D.

mmmkay guys…..im pretty sure one sandwich cost them about 80-90 fils>> SINCE THE BEGINNING OF TIME.

Its just that we as consumers, don’t give a fcuk ..ahem I mean “overlook” these details cause it used to be so cheap. Now, when Naif is trying to pull somehitng like this out of their orifices, we should understand that “It is possible to get a sandwich for 166fils” ; And now imagine the margin that is being applied on the actual price….

Kuwait has a very “re-active” culture to it. Which means everyone will do what everyone else is doing; and they will do it only when the sh1t hits the fan.

Soon, some dills in the right places (who were denied shawerma licenses long back) will bring out a consumer rights violation topic. “No more will we pay more” “No more will we pay more”..

After which Kuwait will respond : “‘kay boyz, new law… Food stuff margins all over Kuwait can not exceed 20%..spread the word (Gavel bangs)”.

Oh and lets not forget how efficient this place is when it comes to creating “Customized” laws!!..

one good thing about Naif is that the chickens are slaughtered in Kuwait so it helps in ‘Halal’ check. The rest KFC and many other restaurants in kuwait get all their chickens slaughtered in brazil, ireland, australia etc. which is not right for conscious muslims.

About rotten eggs well to be honest it’s not only naif all the big epidemics like mad cow diease, bird flu have come from developed countries and well-known institutions. so i guess you guys should not falter your objectivity.

And there food is nice!
