Cinescape Ups Prices…

From the official Cinescape website:
Effective 7th February, ticket prices will be KD 3.000 except on Mondays.
Way to go Cinescape! It’s now even less attractive to watch movies there.

This price raise is going to hurt them in the end. With DSL connections and surround systems now in every other home, people already have little incentive to go to cinemas in Kuwait where picture quality is sub par and censorship is very tight.
I would rather download a HD rip from a torrent (when available), play it whenever I like and enjoy far superior video/audio quality. And of course the attached price tag of “ZERO” is impossible to beat.

Today, I got ripped off at Delizia Pastry in Surra for an extra 1KD raise on kilo of kanafa mabrooma and I’m boycotting them. Now, KNCC. What’s next? Gime me my nude/kisses/mature scenes in movies and heck, I’ll pay you your 3 KD!!

WTF?? Increase for what, has anyone seen Charlie Wilson War a third of this movie was cut, just because the cover was blown over the Afghan Issue and the Israeli-Saudi involvement. Whats the use going to movies and paying 3 KD. I would rather pay 1KD and view it on my home theatre.

500 fils is not a little increase !! It is 20% ,so for 6 nights they collect 20% on each ticket & only one night they reduced 40% ( which will be limited to the theatr capacity ) You do the math for profitability !! & then you get to see 80% of a good movie which is heavily sensored.Cinema is almost the only adult entertainment in Kuwait so they have a captive audience & they are taking advantage.Sucks

“Off topic: Mark, just a heads up about Cloverfield: Overall, it’s a nice movie. There are hardly any inappropriate scenes, even the cussing is kept to a minimum so you don’t have to worry about it being edited to death at the movie theater in Kuwait. This is the type of movie you want to see at a theater. Watching it on tv just isn’t the same. Oh, and pay close attention to the ending scene, there’s a key clue that’ll help you understand the story. I missed it myself because it was very subtle, but I read about afterwards.”

for me also am not that fan in the kuwait cinema bcos it’s sucks it’s expensive and they cut to much of the movie, but why every thing un kuwait increasing so fast they didn’t increase our salary not yet this all sucks

Why is everything in Kuwait has been increased ?

WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY ?

I hate to go to the cinema a long time ago in Kuwait
because of viewer control media
I like to go to the cinema in Dubai,or any where outside Kuwait or buying the one kd cds in the black market
