Cloverfield premiers in Kuwait on 24/01/08
I just found out Cloverfield will get released at the movies here in Kuwait on the 24th of January. There shouldn’t be anything to cut from it so I will probably watch it here unless I find out otherwise. [Link]

Update: For some reason Cinescape has removed Cloverfield from the coming soon list. I guess it was a mistake from their side.

I’m not sure if it’s just me, but isn’t Cinescape finally bringing decent movies (ignore the extremely late showings though) …. Fred Claus, Death at a Funeral, Death Sentence…
I think Cloverfield will stun us ib 8aree8at ta9weer il filim…i hope it will be a big movie just like advertised

I am Legend is another movie of zombies and its almost like World War.
Mark i just checked the kncc.com site and i think they removed the movie already.

afterstorm, you’re right. This movie doesn’t feature anymore in the list of movies cinescape is releasing on 24th Jan, or even 31st Jan!

downloading the screaner now, but won’t mine going to the cinema for it, but I couldn’t get the Jordanian release date…..!!!

I got dizzy watching the 2 minute trailer because of all the hand-held camera-shake style of shooting.
I can only imagine what it will be to watch something like that for 2 whole hours.
Better carry some nausea pills along.

looks like its not gonna be released anytime soon, maybe they are saving it for next Eid .. just like they usually do

i think it got removed because it’s anti American “hence the headless statue of liberty” it encourages terrorism ,never mind its getting released in America , every body knows that Americans hate America , we love America more so thank you MOI for protecting us from this movie.

I’ve just seen the movie (and a made a spoiler-free review of it actually) and there wasn’t anything inappropriate or extremely graphic at all (nor anti-American). I bet there’s a mistake and hopefully they will show it there soon because it deserved to be watched in the cinema to absorb it perfectly.
