That will be useful information - as most of the accidents happen during the 4-5 pm window, as everyone rushes home to be in time to break the fast. :)

Mark, Do you have any idea if I have to have a police report to get the dent fixed?

  3. 3. Matt | September 20th, 2006 at 12:11 pm

sorry I forgot to complete the question by asking you if Dent Xpress needed any police reports to get the work done. And have you ever been to them? Hope they are pretty decent with their finishes…

    Matt,
Police reports are not required for dent removal since it does not involve any painting the car and dents in general are minor and are not considered accidents. The car paint has to be in perfect condition for us to remove the dent. Do come by anytime for a free estimate.

    Matt,
We have been in operation since April 2005 and have serviced over 800 cars since. our finish totally depends on your paint and dents condition. Do come by to see examples of our work.

Matt also police reports are only needed when you want insurance to take care of this. Other then that you can do as you want with your car if you want to pay for it!

Marzouq i know thats what happens but i believe by law you have to have a police report to prove it was not a hit ‘n’ run and your trying to cover up. For more than a dent that is.

    Marzouk,
Police report is a MUST if you want to do any major repairs to the bodywork. All garages are visited regularly by the police to verify that all the cars in the garage have police reports/clearances.
If it is a minor dent or something like that, then it is not too much of a problem. I work for a company that has many garages and we don’t take any cars (minor or major bodywork) unless accompanied by a police report.

    Dentexpress are TOOOOO expensive ..

  12. 12. Dent Xpress | September 21st, 2006 at 12:35 am

    Financy,
We take pride in the unique work we provide. We provide a service that is second to none in kuwait. Our service is prompt and you get your car within minutes. You have to compare us to regular painting of your vehicle at the dealership, you cannot have a door painted for less than 50 KD at an authorized dealer in kuwait and we do not charge more than 50 KD per panel!. Another example, would be the rear fender, now at a dealership the rear fender of lets say a coupe like a jaguar or a porsche would cost upwards of 100 KD since its a huge piece, we only charge for the one dent starting at 15 KD, so how can we be tooooooo expensive? Quick service sets us apart from the rest. We aim to please all our customers and service is our utmost priority.

    Good Job Dent Express!

Everyone complains about poor service in Kuwait, then everyone wants something for nothing.

I would use your service with pleasure, and the number of times my car goes back to Al Mulla rentals for fixing with my impatience in car parks, I think Al Mulla would prefer I used you too.

I agree with moocherx I would rather pay for good service then pay a lot for crappy service and then complain! Financy if you dont like them they try other garages and see what happens from there..

You get what you pay for!

Cajie & RaZ I didnt think about it that way. I think it might just be a matter of trust. Certain garages we deal with just take it in and fix it. One time we had a huge dent in our suburban because a crane guy decided to go left instead of right, and we didnt make any report and didnt do anything to the guy. So we just went ahead and fixed it out of our own pocket. Never thought of the hit’n'run angle.
