Egg Chair
I don’t know what they’re called, I just call it the egg chair. Gallery Vanlian opened up (finally) at The Avenues and they are selling the egg chair for KD450. It’s not really comfortable to sit in but looks pretty cool. They have some pretty random stuff there my favorite being the Bodum kitchenware.

Midas in shuwaikh (the one near Eureka) sell it for 270KD and it is exactly the same

Vanlian has a lot of nice stuff.. especially accessories… the egg chair was for sale at The One for KD 375 last year if my memory serves me right. You have to be careful with what you buy from Vanlian. Smoke Shirts were being sold in Lebanon for 1 KD @ Vanlian while they were being sold by a store at the Marina Crescent for 3KD. So yeah, they have items that are cheaper, they have items that are more expensive…. and they have some really cool accessories…

MARK, could you please make your links to open in a NEW window so after viewing what the link/s is/are, all we have to do is to switch windows to get back here instead of pressing Back several times in the explorer.. just a suggestion … thanks

battery operated, that would be bad web etiquette to force links to open in new windows.
if you are using firefox on the mac for example just hold down the command key while clicking a link it will open up in a new tab. on the pc i guess if you hold the window key or alt key while clicking a link it should do the same. tell me if that works.

well that may have been the price yesterday. today i walked in and asked the price of the chair and i was told KD450. no mention of a discount or anything..

you can find it in al dajeej area .. “at home” store .. they have the whole set for 300KD or something ..
