This is an interesting event, Genki Sushi who are located at Al Raya want people to try and see how good their sushi is so they’re holding an event at The Exhibition and inviting everyone to come and try their sushi for free. Here are the details:

There has to be a catch……do you have to order something really expensive to get the freebie? Or is it a little morsal on a cocktail stick?
Genki is underrated. Their food is really good and one of the few restaurants in Kuwait that actually serve “traditional” japanese food unlike other fusion restaurants like Maki. I honestly hope this event doesnt’ mean they lack customers. I sure would be sad to see it close down.
Just a small note here. Arraya people (my dad works for Salhia/Arraya) seem to be really picky about people calling it ‘Al-Raya’. My dad keeps correcting people. I personally find it amusing. But I thought I’d just you know. =P

It is definitly under rated sushi restaurant.
their problem is their location. Al Raya is a flop for the shops there.
I have had their sushi. It is really good. I agree that arraya mall is not the best location for the restaurant.
Arraya mall is a great spot for cafes rather than restaurants.

No need for reservations. Called yesterday and spoke to the manager. Any1 go there tonite? I am planning on going tomorrow. Yay… Free Sushi!

but i didnty see a lot of ppl there ..guess it wasnt advertised well enough…though i am stuffed with some yum sushi
ok went there once they opened. ate so much that i puked once i got out, still was worth it
now i know where i’m going to go for sushi from now on
