Falafel & Company now open

I just passed by and had lunch at Falafel & Company and it was great. I had the double impact and the midnight shawerma. Double Impact is beef shawerma with fried onion strings, cheddar cheese, bbq sauce, jalapeno sauce and lettuce. The midnight shawerma is a beef shawerma with cheddar cheese, grilled fresh onions, lettuce and their special midnight sauce. Incredible stuff and for only 450fils each.

For those of you who are not as adventurous, you can have your shawerma “normal”. They’re located on the Gulf Road opposite Seif Palace from 9AM to 6PM

    6 pm ?
    why..

  18. 18. Mark | June 7th, 2009 at 8:19 pm

6PM because they don’t have enough staff. Once they get more people they will open full day. Slider Station was the same thing, when they first launched they used to be open only for dinner.

why didn’t you review their shawermas ?

  20. 20. Melly | June 7th, 2009 at 9:57 pm

How’s that acid reflux problem coming along? lol

  21. 21. Reaper | June 7th, 2009 at 10:01 pm

Wheres this double impact & midnite shawerma on the menu, just saw smokestack, typhoon and el pollo loco.

  22. 22. Mark | June 7th, 2009 at 10:26 pm

Melly: Well I am on Nexium so I don’t get acid reflux anymore. Will be off it by the end of the week though and for the past month I’ve had burgers only 3 times and thats as unhealthy as I’ve been. The rest of the time I’ve been eating pretty healthy.

Reaper: They’re not on the menu and neither is the obama shawerma and some other specials. You can also make your own customized shawerma and the best part its only 450fils which is very cheap compared to the 750fils (or was it more) shawerma from villa fayrouz.

I tried it 2day.. I was super excited to go to flafel but come on guys it was not that good .. well the chicken was not bad ( obama sandwich) but many other restaurants are much better! the meat taste was AWFUL like
" `3anam :S " .. the only thing was good is the flafel because of the different sauces that comes with it!

btw Mark.. why u did not review the restaurant I mean by RATING :)

  24. 24. xeonali | June 8th, 2009 at 8:27 pm

    yeah that’s what i meant .. why didn’t you rate their shawermas :/ ?

  25. 25. verriberri | June 9th, 2009 at 9:41 am

  27. 27. Nasser | June 11th, 2009 at 1:47 am

man the beef tasted so bad ..i agree .. never again, dont even try it … if you really want a falafel sandwich .. you go to DUDU right by la baguette in salmiya .. ed3eeely!

  28. 28. Kuwait Ranger | June 11th, 2009 at 6:24 pm

Yikes….tried it on your review. Very disappointed Mark, I thought you were the shawerma king!

  29. 29. Me | June 15th, 2009 at 9:56 am

Do u they offer home or office delivery :p~

  30. 30. Isaac | June 18th, 2009 at 2:27 pm

They’ll start delivering by the end of the month.

Tried the Midnight shawarma. Absolutely amazing. The Northern star (falafel) was great, and out of experience I asked them to go easy on the Mango pickles because it comes out too strong.

    These people know good food!!

Hey went to Falafel & Co. over the weekend, was amazing, had the shawerma there, the chicken tasted a bit soggy and wet, but other than tht, it was the best i ever had in a long time, best of all the price is reasonable for what they give you, its not over-prices nor under-priced, thanks mark for the review. Anymore restaurants we can expect anytime soon which are as good?

  32. 32. MMB | June 24th, 2009 at 8:14 am

well i am sorry to say the food their is rubbish. i will never try to go their i prefer to drive 2 min more & eat perfect sandwich from SPAGO ok the place dont sound fancy but the food is tasty. About Falafel i didnt eat till now in all kuwait the tasty lebanese falafel i mean the real falafel that i eat in beirut. obama & other sandwiches i tried them disgusting & tasteless, as i said spago is much better to eat such food.

  34. 34. MMB | July 8th, 2009 at 7:48 am
