It isn’t only the agency’s fault; it is who approved the ad rather; however you can’t blame them since they haven’t got a Marketing manager.

Mark I agree with you. I think it is a copy, however, I do not think it’s a poor one. I think even copying is an art by itself. I think the localization part was done properly. I would consider the “الخمطة بربع” to be creative in tackling the half KD and one KD offerings by FT rivals. Don’t you think?

Mark i could argue that the origin of the Mac ads is the photo we used to see when we went to the BAKALAH to by sweets when we where young - 30 years ago for me- the A4 size paper had a sketch of 2 guys, a happy guy who sold his stuff cash and a miserable guy who sold on credit.

Ziza Don just pointed out the origin of the Get a Mac ads, this doesn’t excuse FT from copying the ads blatantly. There is a difference between getting inspired from an ad and copying an ad.
