Filfila

I was taking this shortcut through Shamiya today and I accidentally found what I think is the only Filfila branch left in Kuwait. I thought all of them shutdown but it looks like there is one left.

If you weren’t in Kuwait during the 80s you won’t get it :)

  14. TweeZ says:

I think they have the best flafel sandwiches besides AL-Tab3i. Some people would argue that Gad has the best flafel in Kuwait. hmmmmmm, do I smell a flafel contest?!

  15. bannani says:

Why did they close it anyway, i thought they were doing well

  16. bannani says:

  18. hi says:

if u really wanna try good falafel i suggest u try out this place in kuwait city right next to dasman called sharaf…they make these amazing falafel with holes in the middle like doghnuts!!…they also make falafel with onion inside them which (im not a fan of) but some people enjoy them.

  19. I blinked about four times when I realized how many people DON’T know Filfila or haven’t heard of if before!!

Is it me getting old, or is it the same old thing of people claiming to be Down & Around when they weren’t??

For the record, Falafel Sharaf are presently the best Falafel you can find in terms of taste & value for money in Kuwait.

  20. Hielda says:

Well I think that Al Kahla – Blajat road is the BEST falafel, foul & hommous in town !! Have any one tried it?

  21. itsallg000d says:

This Filfila has been there forever but I thought they were just lazy to take the sign off!

About wimpy, they have another branch inside Kuwait national guards camp in Jewaan … yet it’s not for public :)

  22. lendmeurear says:

Al Kalha is good, but not the best.
    Haven’t tried Sharaf yet.
I was born in the 80′s but don’t know filfila. I loved hungry bunny though :)

Felfela was instead of BMW right?

  26. Mark says:

There was Pizza Italia but that was where Prego opened up, near Video Club. Fifila was instead of BMW yup

  27. xamadoux says:

(( Falafel 3ala kifak )) is the most amazing falafel ever , they make it with options of mayo or hommos / bread saj or lebnany / even they used to do smoked falafel, but i am not sure they still do it.
It is near by Beirut square in Hawalliy .. direction of GUST university :)
    enjoy ..

  28. xamadoux says:

Although i am Egyptian and I like Egyptian falafel (ta3miyah).. i admit that the most amazing falafel i ever had in my life was in Beirut in Barbar in 7amra street. u eat standing, so hot & fresh + u can pick pickles as much u like…
    Cant wait to travel Beirut…

  29. I find this photo very funny :)
look how the tree covering the Tikka
maybe it was planted there by Filfila owners lol

it’s the only Filfila and the Adas soup there is the best
