Fire Extinguisher Law
Whats up with this new law in Kuwait where you need to have a fire extinguisher in your car? Are burning cars that big a problem in Kuwait that we all need to carry around fire extinguishers? I remember there was a similar law in Lebanon, one of the politicians had purchased a large quantity of extinguishers and then created the law so he could make profit by selling them.

same issue as lebanon, in kuwait they forced taxi’s to put this counter thingy and no one follows it, just because some huge name bought them

and guess what the counter for the taxi costs 500 KD and same one costs 10 KD in UAE.
btw for small 4 cylidner cars 1 KG extinguisher, 6 to 8 it is 2 KG extinguisher. and dont think you can use one to register 2 or more cars they will mention the serial number of the extinguisher on your registration card. niceeee

Yeah man! Lame law..
But guess what..My mates dad was one of the few lucky men who went at bought loads of fire extinguishers in Lebanon when a similar law came out…i think it was something like an extinguisher in every floor of a building (which wasnt too bad i guess) and that was one of the reasons why he is a millionaire.

it’s the dumbest law ever. i sure as fuck don’t want to be anywhere near my car when it’s on fire because these things can blow up while you are busy putting out the fire. this law would make more sense if it was enforced in HOUSE KITCHENS instead of cars.
don’t they teach you in driving school to like seek shelter from your burning car and call the police, incase…you know… it fucking blows up in your face? fuck kuwait and it’s retarded laws.

I’m sure they picked it up from the bloody Egyptians :) We’ve had a crappy law like this one for eons. AND you have to have the extinguisher with you INSIDE the car, not in the boot. Bollocks.
