For Sale: Apple Clamshell iBook

Apple G3 300mhz
288MB RAM
3GB Hard Disk
Running OS10.3.9
Battery doesn’t hold a charge so you need to keep it plugged in to the power socket. You could find a new battery online for $55 and up. The power cable works perfectly but has black electric tape on it. I don’t know why I bought it like that and never removed the tape to see why they had it on. I use the clamshell for browsing the web from the living room and resizing images for my posts using Photoshop. I am selling it because I am going to be purchasing a MacBook. I originally paid for it KD25 (which is really cheap) but I added 256MB of Ram which cost me more then what I paid for the iBook.
Selling price is KD50
Update: Ok, its sold it. Thank you.

Oh sorry to add another comment … but i have been reading today that the MacBook’s new keyboard isn’t getting any good comments, something about it being weird to use or something, but all the responses claim that you just have to give it some time to get used to it .

I just finished reading 3 different reviews by 3 different sites and they all seem to say that the new keyboard is either fine or better.
“Yep, keyboard felt great, looks good, but might be annoying to learn to type on.”
“The keyboard looks a bit odd - a bit of a mix between a Fisher-Price toy and an old-school Tandy, but it’s very pleasant to use.”

and about the screen:
“Just went outside and worked with direct sunlight hitting the screen. Yes you get a reflection somewhat of the area around you and yourself; however, it is very useable. It is actually a thousand times easier to use outside then my Sony Vaio laptop which is a matte screen. I also love the keyboard and the new right click feature.”

I didn’t say that the Keyboard wasn’t nice, heck i think it is uber sexy … Their argument is of it’s ease of use .. “but might be annoying to learn to type on.” hehehe … some peopl will need time to learn to type on it .. i will check it tonight at the opening of Mac & More
