Actually you are mistaken, on Amazon you can buy it used for $549.

On eBay you can find for maybe 350-400 bucks..
The guy is selling it for a really good deal. Keep in mind you dont pay shipping here also.

I think Mac’s decision to put Core Duo’s in Macs is really going to screw up the resale value of 2nd hand machines for a while with non-Intel chips

I’ve got an older Mini with the 1.42 processor, runs great. I pipe it through my TV and such to play mp3s/downloaded videos.
