Fun on Ice
During my lunch break I went to the ice skating ring. It was my first time there since I went back in June and I had posted about it on Miskan.com. In June though the weather was really hot and Ice Skating helped cool us down. Today though I froze my ass off ice skating, my fingers actually turned blue from the cold. The cool thing though was that it was empty except for me and my friend, there was absolutely no one else which was really cool. Entrance cost us KD1.5 and we took the free skates this time around which were actually easier to skate with compared to the ice hockey ones we took last time. I am a really terrible ice skater and I find ice skating a very dangerous sport, don’t know why it freaks me out so much. Even though, I like going there during my lunch break because I find it very refreshing.

I tried ice skating only once,was on my bottom most of the time.By the end of the hour i was really enjoying myself.(bruises and all :) )
Would love to try it agin

Back when I was a bit younger friends and I used to gather there. Most used to skate but me and a few never got on the ice lol

I haven’t been skating for years! I always fall flat on my butt!
I cut my leg really badly once as well, the blade cut my knee when I fell… hence the fact I decided to give up that hobby!

i took ice skating lessons there when i was still a kid but i still sucked. also back in the days they used to play some cool music there like Snap and Soul II Soul.

i used to just go on the ice with my shoes or play on that gyro ride or whatever.

i suck badly at ice skating.. I can fly at a straight line and then i cant stop! Meet wall! lol

Mark-
The ice skating rink reminds me of my childhood and teen years when we used to play hockey there for school P.E. All the teenagers from the private schools hung out there on the weekends too. We were so bored and innocent back then, this was the most exciting thing we had to do on our weekends, unlike teens of today who have tons more options.

I was in the ice skating club at middle school and we used to go every weekend. It was great!
People always look at me weird when I mention that the last time I skated was in Kuwait…

Loolz thats the best place ever….. you just need to mingle with the people there and that would be ur spot seriously i love that place and i miss every1 there !!….. i lost my ice skates there but im good at skating still (a) Loolz bye
