GAP & Banana Republic

Gap and Banana Republic

Both GAP and Banana Republic will be opening up at the new Avenues mall early next year. Although I am not a fan of either of them but at least they are new brands in Kuwait.

  14. Mark says:

there was a small Gap branch for beidoun in a mall in Hawalli and it later moved to Magical Kingdom mall in fahaheel or something like that.

  15. muscati says:

Actually this time it wasn’t Al Shaya who got the franchise. Al Tayer Group from the UAE got it for the GCC except for KSA.

  21. jashanmal says:

    Magical Kingdom? in Fahaheel?

its actually called kuwait magic and no its not in fahaheel its in the small township of Abu halifa which is two towns north of fahaheel…As for Banana Republic, their clothing items wears off real quick and became more for the dandy type of guyz…

People of Kuwait prepare yourselves to fall into the GAP!

there is already a banana republic in hawali’s plaza center , its not a new brand in Kuwait , the gap dont have there own store but i seem to find there “ugly” clothes in a lot of retail shops.

  25. onlyme says:

    jane:
i think banana republic in plaza is only for kids ?!

  26. vampire says:

  27. zaydoun says:

I’ve noticed a HUGE difference between GAP stores in the US and the ones in London. In the US they’re a mess and the merchandise is crap, whereas in London it’s somehow nicer. I hope we get the London version

As for Banana Republic, they went through a “hip” phase a few years ago and their men’s stuff was really nice. But they’re now back to basics, which are alright.

I expect A&F to come here eventually

  28. roro says:

  29. RDSD says:
