Ok, you want to bring in religion into this matter? Fine. Just know one thing my friend. You are not the only person that can use religion as a weapon to prove a point. EVERYBODY CAN and EVERYONE has the right to do so!

So here you go:

“Fair in the eyes of men is the love of things they covet: Women and sons; heaped-up hoards of gold and silver; horses branded (for blood and excellence); and (wealth of) cattle and well-tilled land. Such are the possessions of this world’s life; but in nearness to Allah is the best of the goals (to return to).” (Aal `Imran 3:14)

Allah wants us to enjoy the fruits of our hard work. He wants us to work hard to enjoy LIFE! Islam is unique among all religions in that it teaches life fulfilment, not life denial. Islam teaches that the worlds of the body and the spirit should live in harmony, not conflict.

Furthermore and please remember this:
“Actions are judged by their intention and everyone shall have only what he intended.”

I also encourage you to look into some hadiths in “Tafsir of al-Qurtubi”
I bet that you will be in for a shock.

So you see my friend. One can use religion by promoting the dynamics of fear of it – like you do. OR, one can understand this: Al deen yeser, laysa 3isr. :)

I really like your phrase “isma7li, bes kilish ma3indik salfah.” but that should be re-directed to you, don’t you think?? because you really ma 3indik salfa o bas 7ag il im3ayat, so even one like me who just passed the kindergarten will know that :). BTW, thanx for telling me what truffle means coz I thought it’s the chocolate that we buy. Kuwait is still a free society and you can do and say whatever you want, and what we are doing here is a perfect example, but I think some guys want to keep the freedom for themselves and take it away from us, or should I say…the cavemen :)
I promise you that I will think about the quote you wrote to me, BTW: according to my kindergarten-level education, this is how to spell: qUOte and not as your spelling.

Can people stop with this bullshit!? I think I read about 1/4 before I got sick of this Go home Mark crap.
He is just as Kuwaiti as anyone else in here! He is entitled to his opinion! Why is it that a family thats moved to Canada for example can call themselves Canadian without anyone telling them that theyre not originally Canadian while here, in Kuwait, if anyone dares say something then straight away its get the f out you lebbo or paki or whatever!
Grow up! These people have been living in this country for pretty much their entire life, they’re Kuwaiti whether you like it or not.

You know exactly what I’m talking about when I refer to the past. Kuwait was a liberal society and people used to have a choice as to what they could do. But then, certain truffles “fagi3″ started sprouting and contanminated the area with politicaly driven ideologies.

I’m glad you’ve received an education. But passing elementary school is not enough these days.

Fifth issue: you reminded me of the old proverb: الايمان بالقلب . This is my 7th year in North America, and by the way I’m studying here in NON-SEGREGATED universities and hospitals; one lady told me that she “admires me because I stuck to my beliefs and ideas all the time and did not melt down just because I lived among them and worked with them”, I had good time with those people and by the end of that rotation we had a tea party, a NON-SEGREGATED tea party, at the hospital without dancing or alcohol which was OK because we are not doing something wrong and it was in front of peoples’ eyes, not in the darkness.
Another Christian French lady also told me about a lady who worked with her. She was Muslim from Morocco, but she was wearing revealing clothes, did not pray, and did not fast during Ramadan. My colleague told her one day: you are Muslim and I know that Muslims should not do what you’re doing and should do what you’re not doing

Did you mean that our parents and grandparents were drinkers and went to parties to dance with women?? Is that what you think about your people and this is how you appreciate them?? I can assure you that they were more busy than you to look for such kind of entertainment, and they had more difficulties to obtain money to have it eventually spent over alcohol or women.
Moreover, sins and sinners were found since Adam and Eve, and they were better than us, don’t you agree; however, both of them did the famous sin and that’s why we are on Earth now. It has nothing to do with old generations and new generations..so can I come out of my cave to your dark modern life now:)…

third of all: I’m not God to judge who is kafir and who is sinner, I was trying to explain to you what is religion and give you examples on when to be a kafir and when to be a sinner, because I was not sure if they had taught you that in the “NON-SEGREGATED school”, and it was not to tell you who are you.
At the same time, we all know what are 7aram and 7alal, everyone knows that, and that’s why when we do something wrong we try to hide it as much as we can, and from Islam we know what are the sins, that is why ALLAH and his messenger commanded us to ASK sinners to stop their actions and ENCOURAGE people to accomplish good deeds, so the conflict is not with you but with your proposed ideas and actions…
