Unfortunately..all the education and money in Kuwait hasnt taught children and human beings to respect either nature or animals. This isnt the 1st incident..or probably the last. U shud see how animals are abused or abandoned in the desert.

Mark, I read your blog most of the time, however its the first time I comment.
Hats off to you and Nat. and God Bless you both. If any of these organizations also work on educating children on how to treat animals they would have achieved part of their purpose.

Hats down to you & Nat & to AFL. Not anyone would have taken the time to do something like that. I seriously think some people here should be a bit more educated on animal welfare/education– and I think more laws should be put in place when it comes to animal abuse. Some people may think it’s stupid, but domestic animals are defenseless and they rely on us for survival. If you can’t take care of an animal then don’t have one! And i agree with DesertGirl, I would have dropped those kids off in the middle of the desert for free as well.
