Gulf Road Chaos

Although this year I’ve noticed a lot more cops on the roads than the previous years, I don’t think its making much of a difference. Gulf Road is still jam packed and the inside roads parallel to the Gulf Road (like Baghdad Street) are also packed.

I was supposed to have my dinner at Il Tetto at Marina Waves, but I wasnt able to reach the place as they blocked all the ways around Marina Mall.
and about 3 Accidents were there at the Guld Rd.

Faisal, I’m complaining because the foam-can idiots may life a hell for EVERYONE. btw, no one anywhere in the world celebrate in such a stupid fashion by spraying all kind of crap on others.

I was on my way for dinner to a friends house (far away from gulf road) my car was already sprayed with foam, but as we reached the destination I opened my door and I was sprayed on by SPRAY PAINT by a bunch of kids. My car (several other cars in front of me), and my clothes was covered in paint. I closed my door and went back home. I know that everyone wants to celebrate and have a good time. Kuwait is like home to me and if given a chance I would celebrate it too. But this was totally unacceptable beyond words. So please be beware of SPRAY PAINTS, lock your car doors at all times.

Spray paint, hair remover, shaving foam, air freshener I’ve seen it all. Even bottles filled with yellow liquid (urine), insect killing sprays, loogies and stones although these you find being flung in jleeb, abbasiya, farwaniya, hasawi etc. What’s sad is the FACT that the cops do nothing. I’ve actually seen people getting scolded by cops when they go to complain on days like these. “you can’t tolerate for 2 days get out” , “they’ve earned this kind of celebration” , etc. Add to this normal people supporting them (I just hope the reader here questioning the complaint doesn’t support THIS kind of patriotic celebration) and it starts to become scary. Tsk tsk.
