Audi held a similar event this past week that was part of the world Quattro tour to test drive the new Quattro A6, held in Kuwait City in the large parking lot area behind the church and Behbehani Complex (the old Kuwaiti houses where Beit 7 and La Piazza and all are, on the Starbucks side). It was also by invitation only and my significant other (who is a die hard Audi driver) had an invitation so he got to test it out and found it to be an excellent, powerful, and very secure car. I’m not sure if the Hummer test drive event is the same way but in the Audi case people who were interested in participating had to apply to Audi Germany, and then the invitations came from Germany through Fuad Al-Ghanim in Kuwait. German engineers were there to give demonstrations and then invitees were able to test drive the car on the set course, which was designed to optimize the car’s features and capabilities. They also held a competition to see who could get through the course in the quickest time and gave the top ten winners certificates. The event ran for three days (April 14-16). Pretty cool! Enjoy the Hummer event! Shouldn’t be too hard to get an invite.

Shouldn’t be hard for you to get an invite! Aren’t they advertising on your blog?
