Häagen-Dazs Fondue

Looks like its going to a food day on this blog. I hate it when I post about a certain topic and then by coincidence end up with a number of posts around the same topic, in this case food. A reader (SJM MUKI) just emailed me the flyer of the new fondue at Häagen-Dazs here in Kuwait and from the picture it looks reallllly good. According to the flyer the fondue costs KD7.500 and is enough for 4 people.

Naah, it isn’t enough for 4 ppl , it’s smaller than it looks me and my friend shared one and when we were told it’s enough for 4 we though about cancelling the order but when it came it was alright for 2 hardly enough for a third person.

I had those in December 2006-Jan 2007 in Haggen Dazs London. Its about time they made it to Kuwait
And no if you like ice cream you like ice cream so it is barely enough for you and someone else not four people because the scoops of ice cream are tiny and by the time you finish indulging in the first of them the rest would have been melted away!
My wife had a yummy new hot chocolate the same time i had the fondue… i wonder when will that make it to kuwait?

What I am waiting to make it to Kuwait are the chocolate milkshakes that Godiva makes in Paris.

Totally off topic - Mark, would you tell the people at Safat that there are a bunch of us - especially those of us on WordPress - who aren’t being picked up by the Safat feeds anymore? There is me (intlxpatr) and Some Contrast and several others who are writing, but not being picked up. It seemed to happen over the weekend, something changed. Thank you very much!

mmmmm godiva milk shakes!?
I love the godiva hot chocolate in the cold snowy winters of london… they are the best! But never tried the milk shakes?
Yeah you can wait forever for those to arrive to Kuwait. First godiva must relocate to avenues where there are actually people walking by then they arrange to lure people inside just for a cup of hot chocolate or milkshakes or to dip some fresh berries into melted chocos… yummy

You get bottled Godiva milkshakes at Sultan Center Salmiya.
Probably like the Bottled Starbucks Frappucinos! :p
