Home made Sushi delivery service
Some Contrast just posted a link to a local website where you can order home made Sushi. They have a ton of rolls to choose from and they all look pretty good and competitively priced. The minimum amount for an order should be at least KD5 which is very reasonable. You can check out their website by going to www.sushi-kw.com

Hmmm, Sushi is one of those foods that require extreme hygienic care….I am not sure I would be comfortable eating “home made” sushi :)

I ordered sushi takeaway from Sakura recently and it gave me some serious food poisoning.

My friends dad makes amazing Sushi at home, just cause its home-made doesn’t mean the risk of food poisoning is increased, I actually think it decreases, because they’re not a huge franchise, they can’t risk something like that and so they have to maintain a good reputation.

I’m a bit disappointed :( I called them at 9:30pm and they said my order would be here by 12! I am afraid I am in bed by 12 and that is just too long to wait for delivery. The philipino lady said that they had too many orders today so it will take more time…interesting…

I will try it as soon as I get rid of this tummy bug………….or else most of it will end up in the loo in record time, no matter how good it is.Sorry, ewwwwwwww.

Ok, im gonna keep things simple and grade them out of 10
Delivery timing: 6 (arrived 25 mins late)
Menu variety: 7 (got all the essential sushi ingedients like salmon, carb…)
Packaging: 8 (chopsticks, sushi tray, extra sauces, all wrapped with a sushi-kw tape, in a white paper bag… considerably good for hame made food!)
Price: 8 (Cheaper than hashi and Maki, but its supposed to be like this!)
Taste: 8 (Very tasty, although Maki tastes better)
Conclusion: Consider Sushi-kw to be a substitue to all major sushi restaurants when your wallet seems light and you get that sushi craving.

Well I just called them up at 10:45, the answer I got was “sorry Sir we are overloaded and we can not take your order”. Then she asked what do you want? so I answered will you be able to deliver, silence on the other end. Where do you live said the filipina voice, Qurtuba I answered. Nooooooo Sir this is too far, I answered listen your site says, any order over 5KD before 11pm is delivered free, it does not metion any geographical restriction. Sorry I called you up, will get my Sushi from Maki. Sir can’t you order tomorrow she fired back, I chuckled yeah right.
25. Salbader | September 29th, 2008 at 12:53 am
I dont think she knows where Qurtuba is…
