could see that in my school which is in south surra i saw that smoke in 6th period

Ok! So here’s the reality of it all. I work in that area. An electric substation exploded and caught fire . The fire was huge and lots of black smoke ensued, which could also be seen from as far off as the airport. The area was indeed cordoned off by the cops,the fire dept and the security guards assigned to the diplomatic area.
The fire dept and cops had to struggle with keeping the crowds at bay.
Electricity was also out in all the adjoining embassies and houses, as a result.

The fire, which looked very threatening at first, was killed off in about 2-3 hours, but last seen there was still white smoke coming out of the sub station. Fire fighters and investigators were still on the scene long after the incident. No casualties, either human or property were reported. Some trees that grow adjoining to the area were burnt or blackened from the smoke.

Cause has not been established.
Back up generators have been put up and power has been restored.
Looks like another overworked, under maintained transformer bit the dust.

Oh thats what all that smoke i was in bahrain and i saw this thick black smoke coming in (5if 3alena)!!

I was driving by next to it when it happened, the fire dept. wasn’t there yet. The flames alone were as big as the building next to it! It looked amazingly COOL up close! The plume was so big it blocked the sun on the road next to it. It felt good waiting in the shade till the traffic light opened.
