Has anyone noticed the new biscuit cone they’re using for KDD Silver ice cream? The color is a lot lighter, it has a powdery feel to it which I hate and it also tastes different. Why change something that was perfect?
Note: Also this isn’t new but I noticed awhile back that Silver no longer has caramel inside or at least the quantity is much much less. Before I used to be able to see some caramel streaks in Silver but not anymore.

lol.. Was just telling my wife how the he’ll can a company called kdc.. Kuwait dairy company copy the exact same layout of the kdd zahab.. And no one can say anything about it.. No copyright no shit.. I think that’s why kdd are rebranding.. They need to be seperated from the damn copycats..

If you’re really passionate about them not changing the biscuit cone, give them feedback on their website http://www.kddc.com/ , get many other people who share your thoughts about this new cone to also suggest to KDD to revert back to their previous cone and you’ve got yourself a solution.

WAM, he’s not talking about the name, he’s saying the Layout of KDC’s Ice cream is similar to that of KDD Gold ice cream.

Try the KDCow golden/silver one, I lovelovelove the biscuit they use!
It’s really soft and tastes great.
I wouldn’t recommend it for the people who prefer crunchy over chewy though.
KDD has been doing this with milk and now with ICE Cream it’s called Streamlining or ( cutting costs!) i shifted to KdCow

I will email you the email of a very sweet, very helpful employee in KDD who follows up with customers feedback and actually cares. I remember i had a kdd new lulu saga last summer and when i emailed KDD she actually took the time to reply to me and comfort me…
im not a fan of Fe`6a ice cream so im not sure, however i still think that Dhahab and LULU Cone ice cream are the best in the market (Low price ice creams)

cutdown..cutdown ,Mr subs changed their chillie fires potatos from the thick one to the thin one semilar to Mcdonald so it became soggy ,and for KDD milk its powder but KDC is fresh milk treated to be longlife
Their cones were never great… we always were just nostaligically attached to them. The reason when you would want to eat another silver after the first one, is the chocolate on the very tip of the cone.
Also, have you seen KDDs new chocolate milk packaging? Why??? Why won’t they just let us be? I want my my KDD chocolate milk in a BROWN package… not striped, now loud… brown… I would love it if they went back to the 80s design.. if not, then let them stick to what they have.

Did you guys also notice that Silver no longer contains caramel? Silver used to have some streaks of caramel inside but it doesn’t anymore or at least i can’t see it anymore.
that is typical of KDD……….they did that when they first brought out dakkus…..it was excellent and then they went and put in more garlic and chilli and wondered why the sales dropped…………..you have to ask the hierachy of the company……………i think they get bored !!!!

This was done to cost cut given that imported materials shot up in price. Am glad they didn’t do what most American firms are doing now which is shaving off grams while keeping the same packaging.
i was thinking the exact same thing…the old silver was ALOT better…not even in the same league…such a shame
by the way not just the quality of the cone is different, the quality of the ice cream used is also different…i guess the financial crisis hit kdd too :P
I have recently bought a Gold Ice cream box, and to my shock none of them had any chocolate at the end of the biscuit cone!!
theres a different brand that sells silver and gold “equivalents”….cant remember the name tho!! it doesnt taste better than the original gold and silver…but its somewhat better than the new gold and silver, and it has chocolate at the end of the cone
We always order KDD ice cream by the box and yesterday we got a box of Lulu, the one with the chocolate in the middle that is so good? We all tried one and they were DISGUSTING. It tasted like sewage, honestly. We tried four different ones and they all tasted as bad. The vanilla ice cream was fine but the chocolate in the middle was absolutely nasty. We tried calling KDD to complain but they ignored us. WTF? KDD used to be the bomb. What happened?
maybe the cones provider changed the magic recipe

yeah the Lulu ice cream nowadays has a really bitter gross chocolatey bit that tastes expired but isn’t.
Also, my favourite iced lollies – orange and raspberry taste like ice that’s been kept in the fridge too long. I think KDD has seriously dropped the ball.
people will still buy its kdd tastes change they have other things also kdd is not just icecream or other stuff its a working firm with many products they are spending good on other products dont like it dont buy it
