Guys, Electrozan IPHONE are officially unlocked, i just bough it from there for KD.239 and it is100% unlocked with their warranty and the Kuwaiti guy over there is well aware about all Pocket PC and their stores and updation has arabized it for me even for KD.10 ONLY, it is now very very nice, and arabized.
IPHONE is really WOW invention :) by the Apple Guys

Vodafone New Zealand also sells OFFICIALLY unlocked iphones (http://www.vodafone.co.nz/iphone/) – only catch you need to get it from there – but i believe k.thekuwaiti has put up in his blog (http://k.thekuwaiti.com/) how to get one from there some time ago – don’t if its still valid though.

Check this page @ apple.com which gives you the worldwide list of carriers and their iPhone part numbers. It also tells you which iPhones are locked to certain carriers, and which are not.

These comments are confusing. I went to Electrozan and got the iphone. The whole packaging is in Italian, I got on Itunes and updated the software to version 2.2 and everything is still working. Isn’t that NOT supposed to happen if it was unlocked by Turbosim?

UMMMM, no they don’t. They Sell Italian IPhones, The part number is MB496T, Google it. Its officially unlocked. Go down to Electrozan and check all the phones yourself. They all have the same Part number. they are not “unlocked officially with turbosim”
