iPod Video in Kuwait
I was informed earlier that you can find the iPod Video in Kuwait. zMacShop is selling the 60GB White iPod Video for KD150 while Mac & More is selling it for KD195. The 30GB White iPod Video is being sold at zMacShop for KD130 while Mac & More is selling it for KD175. zMacShop have already sold out all the black iPod videos.

i was compairing ipod video prices the other day, and i found that if u order it from apple’s site u get it for KD 184 that includes the 60gb with free laser engraving and 8 of its most common accessories including the stand and all the wires plus the sock!!
I dont think so. I think you miscalculated. Apple sells the ipod video for 399$ which is less then KD184. I paid KD120 for my ipod from amazon and thats including KD4 shipping to Kuwait by Aramex.
Once again Zmacshop is my favorite in its cheaper prices for Mac shizzle :r
i dont think i miscalculated anything, if u convert $399 into KWD using yahoo, u get exactly Kd 116.510!!!!! which is ALOT less than what u pay for here!!
zMacstore probably get about 20KD profit (plus shipping and everything) for each 60GB iPod video sold. Clearly the best mac store in Kuwait. Second to none.

thats a miscalculation. You just said it yourself if you convert 399 to KWD you get 116 NOT 184.

you can get 8 accessories that add up to 10$ and you can get 8 accessories that add up to 1000$.
if you were trying to show how cheaper it is to order from the Apple store then you could have just compared the price of the ipod video there to the ipod video in kuwait. no need to add accessories and stuff into the mix.
btw very FEW people will be able to order from the Apple Store because not only do you need a US mailbox but you need a US bank visa card.

Mark, zMac gives you only three months warranty on the ipods. Also zMac is not an authorized service center. Mac & More ipods are 1 year WW guaranteed. In addition, Mac & More is an authorized apple service center.
so what? for the price difference between zmacshop and mac and more i can buy another ipod incase the first one breaks

mac city is located in virgin in marina but their prices are a lot more expensive then zmacshop

its the same marchendise worldwide. you dont have good quality ipods and bad quality ones. if u go into an apple store in soho or buy an ipod from zmacshop, they are the exact same thing.

depends on your needs. u looking for something to carry in your purse the whole time? nano would be best option.
u have 50gb of mp3s u want to carry around with u? ipod video would be better..
expect them to charge u for it big bucks cuz it was a self inflicted damage. dont expect them to replace it for free, not even apple in the states would replace it for u for free. call them up and see how much they will be charging u, might be cheaper to buy a new one instead.
i fixed it and brought it back with no charge…
maybe it’s part of the warranty?
