Jazeera’s buy 1 get 1 free ticket
A friend at work saw the Jazeera Airways “Buy 1 Get 1 Free” offer the other day and decided to buy a ticket. He paid KD38 for a two way ticket to Dubai. Awhile ago he received an email from them to claim his free ticket. So he clicks their link and decides to get another ticket to Dubai and guess how much the free ticket is going to cost him? KD43! So his free ticket is costing him more than his paid ticket. I thought that was pretty funny.
Tip of the day: Always read the fine print!

Interesting! It seems that the free ticket was in Jazeera Easy class, for which ticket was available only for the onward journey (charged 0 KWD). For the return, he took Jazeera Light which cost him 19 KWD (apart from the taxes).

I’m not sure how far Jazeera Airways is planning to stoop. They’re never on time, their seats are dirty, their food is terrible, they keep losing passenger’s luggage, very bad customer support system and the whipped cream on top is that they usually rip you off!

Tip of the day: Jazeera airways chathabeen in their offers. I was about to fall for their scam of ‘free tickets’ until I called them up. realise that ‘free’ is the ticket itself indeed, but the handling charges shot up to 32kd suddenly. Mashallaaaa, free indeed!

internet can be deceiving when dealing with offers like tickets and hotels you better keep ur eyes wide open for every small detail.

The guy should have booked both tickets at the same time…that’s how the offer works. Then it would have made a difference.
