Kaifi

Does anyone else find this new Burgan Bank ad cheesy? It also reminds me of the Subway “Kaifi” campaign that were released last year. I tried to find a copy of those Subway ads but I couldn’t.

  1. Comparing it iwith the kind of advertisements that the National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) is doing, you can see how smart people who works in the advertisement department.
    check it out @ http://www.nbk.com

  5. scale says:

i think the first kifee ad was done by ’3eeeras 3 years ago or so !!!!

    all the best

  6. bo9agr says:

but the girl is kinda hot !!

  7. Biohazard says:

Too much eyeliner, looks like a prostitute.

Anyway, if they wanted to go with the lame crap they could’ve done something better with the graphics. I mean a girl, speech bubble and a number don’t exactly make me wet, y’know?

Yabeela’s catchy and funny. KFC’s OMG ZINGER ad sucks but the funny “SEYARTI!” saved it.

We have a lot of shitty ads, Wataniya’s ads are gold though. The whole “surf internet really fast” thing.

  8. Stafa says:

the girl looks like a monkey to me!

  9. Jacqui says:

Read the english translation it’s even more amazing :P

  10. Carlsb3rg says:

sorry bo9agr but she’s ugly and looks like a slut.

  11. Marzouq says:

    That just aint working..

  12. SaREe3 says:

  13. Armani_Exchange says:

I thought it was a guy not a girl LOL!

  14. vampire says:

it’s not “kaifi”,, she’s doing the calculations
    (-_-) “

  15. Mek says:

    Beautywise, Subway >> BBK.

They should do a Kuwaiti version of the Jared ad they had in the US.

  16. Frankom says:

:: no innovation no creative no nothing … lame advs

  17. cj_ says:

when are you going to do another interview like the one with the shark?

  18. Cerebral Assassin says:

    corny nd lame//..

  19. I_Love_Azo0oz_q8 says:

    “Beautywise, Subway >> BBK.”
    wat do you mean?

anyway both ads suck no creativity what so ever and, i know both of these girls and theyre ugly.

Whats up with the cheesy slogans? Why do these ads almost always have 3agad in mind? Kaifi, yabeela, il6a3am yeshidik… whats up with that? Secondly, banks should not be trying to be cool, its is against the very institution of a bank, instead they should promote products and services not money traps.

P.S. All those prize accounts are lotteries, banks are not supposed to be running lotteries, instead keep that for the baqalas to sell.

The subway ad is cheesy. Embarrassing cheesy :S
Looks like the bank is taking on the women’s rights thing too. It’s an affirming ad. Cheezy, yes. Affirming….yes.
Carls and bio: The girls look like sluts?
You’ll notice more and more ads accentuating ladies’ eyes. Especially in magazines. Since eye contact speaks, once that contact is made, the general audience will more likely read the ad’s msg.
The ladies don’t look slutty by any means.

  22. bo9agr says:

looks like i have a bad taste in beauty & women !!

  23. Angelo says:

Oh my God!! Has creativity gone that companies have to steal old year used ideas to promote their products.

  24. Kewleyes says:

Oh I just want to add something too, do you remember Expression “Human Soft” English company, their slogan was “Ta3alam Sa7″, am sure most of your remember that in Marina FM and streets.

This Burgan Bank add is a combination of Subway lady and Kaify concept, including the successful slogan of Expression english institute.

    No Creativity.. 0 from 10
