Oh my God!! I haven’t seen that kuala in forever…I was just telling the guys at the office that I used to have one…no idea where it is now…but you just brought back crazy childhood memories! Thanks Mark!
i recognised the logo instantly. i didn’t realise it had closed. actually, how the hell did a toy store in kuwait go out of business? i can’t think of any serious competition besides fantasy world.

My god!! Waaaaay old times … Although I do remember my last visit to the salmiya branch, it was in June 1991 (after the liberation ) I got my Grover & koala bear which I still proudly have in my room :D
Kids R Us was open after the invasion, where Alghanim Electronics is located now in the old Salmiya was Kids R Us.
