   It’s the Dunkin Donut Dude’s fault if he fails at this point.

   How long did he have that “Dunkin Coming Soon” Sign up for? A year? 2 Years? Since the Gulf War?

   I fail to understand how you can spend close to a million dollars (key money, rent, staff, decoration) to get your brand in - and then leave it in the balance exposed and loss making for all that time!

   He had a lead time where he should have captured the market. That chance has now gone…..and with Kharafi at the helm of this KK operation - we can expect a flood of heavy advertisiting etc.

   Absurd business tactics from DD…..It will all come down to brand loyalty now.

    If you really want to try some,KK are doing free doughnut and t-shirt drops at NBK branches today around 7 - 8 pm.I can only give you the names of 3 branches where I know they’re going to be for sure:Kifan,Qadsiya and Fahiya.

    Marzouq,people who’ve had it here and in the Uk and the US say its better than both!!
    Best way to have them is hot,heat in the microwave for 8 seconds only.Ur recommendation works too!!

    K,do u know someone in Americana?There have been strict instructions against handing them out free before the drops today.The only people I know who have got them are all company employees and Marzouq Khorafi’s family,and a couple of other people.

    hope u enjoy them.

    I dont know about you guys, but I think that the shope in which DD is at is cursed. Have you noticed? Every time a business opens up in that store…it fails!

    They taste like the real thing .. as far as I remember. I had the last glazed donut .. it tasted quite good.

    Eva, Pink Panther;- the store that you’ll are talking about in Farwaniya is actually the commissary, that’s where they are preparing their donuts. Heard they are going to sample 120,000 donuts before they open.

    Ladies/Gents,

    Last time I was in Winston Salem, USA I was talking to some fillas in the food business. This was in 2003. Krispy Kreme had a bit of a fall since the discovery of the trans fatty acid content in thier donuts. I passed across the head quarters and it looked as if it is dead!! I think the decesion to go world wide and to less health consious people may have saved the company or they may have figured out a way to reduce the heart choking trans fatty acids that can go upto 7 grams per one donut in some of thier products.

    Last time I was in USA, which is less than a year ago, I have seen a significant shift on the demand on donuts from Krispy Kreme to Dunkin Donuts. People were lining up on the dunkin donuts stand and the Krispy Kreme stand was empty. I took the chance to buy some Krispy Kreme donuts and to be honest the taste of the donuts was fluffy, but oily.     when it opened my bro came home & was holding like 5 boxes of KKs that were 4 free it was such a funny moment. Then we gave away half of it to our friends and cousins cuz we cant eat a million donuts ;p
