Kuwait Tourism

Saw the funniest thing today on my way back from Marina Mall. A large bus with Bahrain Limo written on the side was parked on the side of the road and a bunch of Bahraini tourists were getting out. Makes me wonder how boring Bahrain must be for people there to be coming to Kuwait for tourism.

I live n Bahrain…and just to clarify..Bahrainis visit q8 for shopping. although 90% of shops are the same but q8 has more variety. And yes Bahrain is small but the ppl do make it easier for us to adjust. to be honest …best country for xpats is Bahrain compared to other GCC countries as I tried living in most of them…life style…freedom….Clubing..drinking…and well educated ppl…its the only country in the gulf where u will find xpats really interacting with 4nerz …. U should visit..God bless

Kuwait has amazing tiled pavements. The liberation tower, kuwait towers and the finest sand on earth and with the warmth that the people offer can’t you just see the tourist magnet that kuwait is…..

On the contrary, Bahrain is quite an entertaining country once you know where to hang out. Plz dont look at it as a boring country, Bahrainis love to visit Kuwait, and vice versa…bcz they go way back, Bahrain & Kuwait are very similar in traditions.. anyway i hope you come visit Bahrain..that should change your mind.

Aasma, did you say there is nothing wrong with Kuwait. I don’t want to be rude or anything. But your thinking is wrong, there are a lot of things wrong with Kuwait, and it’s people like you who think it’s perfect that stop it from devloping. Be open minded. I’m from India, I’m not saying India is perfect, although I really like it, probably as much as you like Kuwait. But ya.

i agree w/bahrainiya.. i love bahrain.. but i also enjoy visiting kuwait. it’s a change of scenery, it’s got a similar structure to bahrain (& not as cosmo as dubai!!), and it’s got great shopping if u know where to go (bigger variety!)

  11. asmaa says:

    i know it’s not perfect..
but i love it.. and there is so many things to do here..
Mark make it looks like it’s not worth to visit at all..
there is scuba diving, shopping, fishing, jet skies.. alot of stuff

sorry, Im an expat living in kuwait who has also lived in Bahrain and Bahrain makes kuwait look like a dump. I dont get this variety crap, as a European expat Bahrain has much more variety- books, music, media etc…

  16. Mark says:

asmaa kuwait is just not las vegas, thats what i meant.

  17. RaZ says:

    Evolution,

There’s nothing wrong with asmaa having pride in her country. What’s wrong is for you to jump down her throat just ’cause you’re unhappy here.
