It sounds nice, but I wouldn’t call it country.

Actually, if you can now classify Taylor Swift as Country then I guess anyone can be country.

  14. Nawaf says:

actually it’s pretty now that i listened to it, it’s not really country sound like modern slow rock or something of that sort, what kills it is the english kuwaiti accent you can hear it throughout the song.

    But overall it’s pretty good…

  15. [...] Al-Mazeedi is a Kuwait country musician whom I posted about early in the year. He just released another song which you can listen to above. This is what Ibrahim had to say about [...]

Uh oh, this one’s worse…………..just putting on my grandma’s Johnny Cash CDs to remember what real country sounds like….

This isnt country, nor is it good. Just cos he’s Kuwaiti doesnt mean we need to go easy on him. He’s got no modulation in his voice, there is no variety in his pitch and plenty of mistakes in his guitar plucking.

I’ve heard better musicians play on the marina mall beach side, without mic’s monitors, and recording equipment.

    2/10 if you ask me.
