Large fire in Dajeej
A fire started around 4:30PM in one of the buildings in Dajeej that contains furniture shops. Due to the size of the fire the firefighters weren’t able to tame it. He shot a video which you can see above and also pictures which you can see below. [YouTube]

Do you know if anyone’s injured? Thanks for the share, I was able to see the smoke when I was passing by around 6:00pm.
No Body was injured, and it was one big carpet shop not a furniture shops.

That’s a big fire? What are they going to do if an office building catches – God forbid.
This time of year (June – July), there are always a lot of “inventory reduction” fires. There usually aren’t many in August because that’s when everybody goes on vacation.

i cud see that the firefighters were constantly running out of water to put out the fire..i doubt if the kuwait fire dept is equipped well enough to contain a situation of large magnitude…
In a country where everybody smokes, anywhere they want to…I wonder how the fire started?
